DonTronics is an Australian Based Company, with around 70 to 80 percent of all sales now outside Australia. We have Distributors in many countries, and a great number of our prices are now expressed in approximate US Dollars for your convenience. As we can only charge in Australian Dollars (AUD), check The Universal Currency Converter for the current exchange rate to calculate the cost in AUD, then round this up to the nearest Australian Dollar. This is the price you will be charged on your credit card.
Air Mail delivery delays to International destinations varies, however we normally quote 8 to 14 days. We know South Africa may be 3 to 4 weeks. Don't know why. We can match and sometimes better manufacturers prices on "Manual and Disk" Software to International destinations. English not your first language? The customer always comes first at DonTronics. We don't send you something unless we are sure of your ordering instructions.
Our large Third Party Product range includes many hardware and software items for PICmicro and Atmel MicroControllers, and other Electronic related items, however the only product that DonTronics actually manufactures and distributes is the DT series of SimmStick Printed Circuit Boards.
SimmStick Dealers can now be found in the following Countries:
| http://www.simmstick.com The 1999 SimmStick Contest. $500USD Cash First Prize. |
From Robert Nansel's Amateur Robotics Notebook Column, Nuts & Volts magazine August-98:
"I'm very impressed with the whole SimmStick concept. I like the price, the form factor, and - more importantly - I like the DIY spirit of the whole enterprise and its international character". See December -98 edition also.DonTronics welcomes your input for new SimmSick designs.

Please don't ask for a catalog, this is the catalog. There is no printed material, disks, CD-Rom, only this web page. Some links to us suggest we sell general Electronic items. Sorry, we only sell the items listed in these pages.
We no longer do any design work unless it is to enhance the
SimmStick range. We steer clear of importing hardware into
Australia to re-sell. The antiquated Australian Customs rules,
costs, and delays, are no fun at all. (Don would rather be sitting
on a beach than a bench.)

The DonTronics DT001 board is a SimmStick platform and cheap printer port programmer for the DT101 SimmStick. It has a 4PDT switch which allows you to program a PIC16C/F84 in a SimmStick and run the program straight away. Yes, a load and go operation. This means you don't have to move the PIC16F84 chip from the programmer to a target board as they are one and the same. LOAD/RUN. Straight away!! Who else sells a PIC16F84 Programmer that will do that??? Hey, we can even do it now with the new all flash PIC16F877 40 pin chips. See: DT106
The DT001 can easily be configured to program PIC12C508/9 Micros, and many other types of PICmicro devices.
SimmSticks for
